Read the following and answer the questions

Read the passage and answer the questions. Cities around the world are planting trees along streets to fight rising temperatures. Trees cool the air in two ways: their leaves give shade, and they release water vapour, which absorbs heat. Studies in several cities found that streets with a full tree canopy can be several degrees cooler in summer than nearby streets without trees. Trees also absorb rainwater, reducing flooding, and they make neighbourhoods more pleasant for walking. However, planting trees is not enough; they must be looked after for many years before they give these benefits. Young trees need regular watering and protection from damage. City planners therefore now include maintenance budgets, not just planting targets, in their green plans.
